Abrams’ « Lost » had an almost entirely different cast
Scenario
Survivors of a plane crash are forced to work together to survive on an apparently deserted tropical island… J.J. See which A-listers were lost to one of the most popular TV shows of all time. The character of Sawyer was originally supposed to be an older, smooth-talking city crook from Buffalo, NY.

But when Josh Holloway forgot a line in his audition and then kicked a chair in frustration and cursed loudly, the writers liked the edge he brought to the Sawyer character and decided to write Sawyer as more of a Southern, darker drifter. Jin and Sun are married and share the last name « Kwon, » which becomes a major plot point in the final season. However, when Koreans get married, the wife never takes her husband’s last name. In fact, it’s not even allowed in Korea to marry someone with the same last name, except in rare circumstances…

The strange opening credits were designed by J.J. Abrams on his laptop in black and white as an homage to the Twilight Zone.. I’ve watched a lot of TV in my life, maybe too much. But this is the best show I’ve seen in years.
Probably the best ever
You just can’t predict what’s going to happen. Every week the show seems to tell you something new about the island and its people. I’m on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what’s going to happen, then before I know it, the show is over and I have to wait to find out what happens next. Absolutely gripping!
This show is amazing and I hope they keep it going because fantastic American shows often get cancelled because the ratings start to dip a bit or the executives think they are too weird
I really hope the series continues so we can get it here in England because it is a fantastic show and I would love to have a DVD of this series so I can get all my friends excited too.
