Scenario
It follows Catherine Ravenscroft, a television documentary journalist whose work has been built on exposing the transgressions of long-respected institutions. The exceptionally talented Russian Blue cat improvised all of her actions and dialogue at home.
In several episodes, Jonathon uses the same lens throughout the series, a medium-length telephoto lens
Such a lens would not be able to focus on close-up subjects such as selfies with Sasha or in the bedroom with Catherine. Some negative reviews seem to suggest that the positive reviews are a « conspiracy », failing to grasp the simple concept that we all have different tastes.
It is well-acted and the story develops impressively
There are certainly plot holes, but the story hits you hard when you realize that each character is a despicable human being and you see the horrible cruelty, ego and hatred that arises in the human psyche. The 7/10 rating reflects the plot holes, everything that happened between Katherine and Jonathan was only seen by them, and yet somehow the grieving mother wrote it as if she saw every moment, and then it became a fact.
Worth watching (I’m not a robot or a production company employee in case there are any conspiracy theorists here)
