As we prepare for House of the Dragon, we remember the glory that once was Game of Thrones. Seasons 1-6 are truly excellent television, with The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, The Wire, the best of the best.
A rushed, messy, weak ending and a blow to fans new and old alike
Season 7 was lower quality but still enjoyable, and then came season 8, which was a disaster of epic proportions. But nothing can take away from the wild, brilliant and emotional adventure of Game of Thrones seasons 1-6.

I want to believe it was canceled after season 6 and we never saw the real ending ;)
