You’re more just watching it, you know, from the outside. » In many episodes there is a 3M Command(TM) strip shown in the kitchen of Jeffery Dahmer’s apartment, this takes place in 1991 for the last one. 3M debuted their first wave of Command(TM) products in 1996. I knew very little about the Menendez brothers.
But that’s about it
I knew about the murders and about the sexual abuse defense. The lurid story kept me at a distance, but now, in this captivating series by Ryan Murphy, I was hooked from the first episode. I could see it as a work of fiction, but the fact that it was a true story made me look back and read about it.
And here I discovered Cooper Koch as Erik Menendez
Oh my! There are no likable characters in this saga, but there are really good performances and that is enough to keep you glued to it. He took over my senses from beginning to end, including the episode where he is the only one in it.
It will make me rewatch the series soon
His magnificent performance and the humanity he finds in his monster makes you want to rethink the whole thing and believe in them/him.
