A pastor's daughter pretends to date her best friend-just as he meets his dream girl. Will it doom their friendship or blossom into romance?. I really enjoyed this movie! It’s very funny, keeps you engaged, and not exactly what you expect from a Rom Com. I laughed so hard and really loved the ending.As the movie takes place at Christmas it is a fantastic holiday movie but its story line is so adaptable that it can be watched any time of year.I love the Christian story about love and friendship presented in this movie. Mark Christopher Lawrence hits it out of the park with his serious and intimidating pastor/dad role. It also has some true rising stars, from director Tim Nolte and lead characters Ashley LaRae (Jess) and Burke Brown (Alex).
